Please put “submission” and the type of submission in the email subject line and add a couple of lines about the feature. Please include in the subject line “submission” followed by the title of the attached folder, so I can keep your photos matched up with your email. That’s important, so again please title your submission folder the same as what you include in your email subject line (no need to include the word “submission” in your folder title). So for example, you may include “submission: modern DIY NYC wedding” in the subject line, then title your folder “modern DIY NYC wedding from ABC photographer.” This is so I can keep the folders matched to your email.
When submitting real weddings, I will need the bride’s email address so that I can ask for personal info for the feature. Also, please include information about the event, ALL vendors & etsy shops that should be credited, and links to their websites. Although submissions can be from planners, designers and brides (with the photographer’s permission), I prefer submissions from photographers directly to avoid confusion, since I do not feature weddings that have already been featured elsewhere.
