    {What I’m Loving} Chevron!

    By Chandra Fredrick | May 16

    I have a new obsession – chevron – and I think buying just one of these things might help to cure it.  I’m leaning toward that basket or iPhone cover myself, but there are so many fun ways to incorporate a little chevron into your life!

    {chevron on your floors and walls}
    {sources, clockwise: A Little Lovely, Design Inspiration SK, Green Street, Aesthetic Outburst, Luelle Loves}
    {chevron in your (or baby’s) clothes and accessories}
    {clockwise: Shak Shuka, Beklina, coat and dress via pinterest (original sources unknown), Etsy}
    {chevron in your home’s accessories}
    {Top Row} Etsy,  Shades of Light, Etsy, Etsy {Bottom Row} Apartment Therapy, Anthropologie, Martha Stewart
    {chevron furniture, rugs, and window panels}
    {Clockwise: Twice Lovely, Craftiness is not Optional, Blueprint Bliss, via Pinterest (original source unknown), MadeByGirl, A Well Dressed Home}
    {chevron paper goods}

    So, are you hooked yet?  What is your favorite way to “chevron?”  If you like DIY and you like that orange chevron tray above, go here to find out how to make one yourself.  It is super duper easy (hint, it is made from a baking tray!)

    {Inspired by} BHLDN Hair Accessories

    By Chandra Fredrick | Mar 7

    Love the BHLDN gowns I posted about a couple weeks ago?  Well, here are some headpieces and hair accessories to go with them!  If you love vintage but aren’t brave enough to wear one of BHLDN‘s gowns, you can add some vintage flair to your more traditional gown with one of these beauties on your head.

    Vintage Bride {#1}

    By Chandra Fredrick | Mar 5

    What once was old is new again.  Isn’t that often the case in fashion?  The same is true for bridal style.  Whether it is a wedding gown, a veil, or a hairstyle, many brides are taking cues from vintage bridal style.  Because Oh Lovely Day loves all things vintage, we’ll be featuring a vintage bride weekly in this Vintage Bride feature.  If you have a photo of your mom, grandmother, or someone else you know that you think had great vintage bridal style, I would love to share them!

    {Inspired by} Bridal Gowns by Sarah Seven

    By Chandra Fredrick | Jan 24

    I’ve been a big fan of Sarah Seven gowns for a while, but I’m in love with the 2011 bridal collection.  These gowns are made to order, and are so romantic, feminine, and pretty.  If I were to get married again, I would totally pick one of these.  And if you really have a big budget, how great would one of the short dresses be for dancing at the reception!  LOVE.

    Other good news – Sarah Seven also does bridesmaids’ gowns!
