    {It’s in the Details} 15 Ways to Use Yarn in Your Wedding

    By Chandra Fredrick | Dec 6

    Really want to show your crafty homespun style in your wedding?  Use yarn in your wedding details.  Most of these ideas are super easy and totally DIY  All you need is, well, yarn!  And there are SO many fun ways to use it.  Here are my favorite fifteen ways:

     1.  {yarn-wrapped mason jars}
    {Sabine Scherer via Martha Stewart Weddings}
    2.  {yarn letters}
    {Sarah Ortega}
    {Hazelnut Photography via Style Me Pretty}
    3.  {escort cards in yarn}
    {via Green Wedding Shoes}
    4.  {yarn-knit bridal shawl}
    {Jose Villa via Green Wedding Shoes}
    5.  {yarn-wrapped heart decor}
    Sabine Scherer via Once Wed
    6.  {yarn wrapped favor boxes}
    {via Martha Stewart Weddings}
    {via Poppytalk}
    7.  {yarn details on your table top}
    {Jose Villa via Green Wedding Shoes}
    8.  {yarn table numbers}
    {Hazelnut Photography via Style Me Pretty}
    {Keri Doolittle Photography via Style Me Pretty}
    9.  {yarn stitched stationery}
    via Martha Stewart Weddings
    10.  {yarn ball bouquet}
    {via Green Wedding Shoes}
    11.  {yarn ball boutonnieres}
    {by Couture Wedding Design via Ruffled - which also has a DIY tutorial}
    12.  {Yarn globes}
    {Keri Doolittle Photography via Style Me Pretty}
    13.  {yarn ball ring “pillow”}
    {Kellan Studios via Once Wed}
    14.  {yarn crocheted ring pillow}
    {via Martha Stewart Weddings}
    15.  {yarn backdrop}
    {Jackie Wonders via Style Me Pretty}
    That last idea would make a fantastic ceremony background, or a backdrop for your dessert table.
    If you like any of these, you can find links to some DIY tutorials below:

      Does anyone know the pattern and gauge, etc to make the knitted bridal shrug that is featured in these photos?
