it seems to me that DIY lanterns are very popular these days… and when I look at these photos, I’m not surprised at all by this fact.

I don’t think there’s anything a mason jar can’t do ;-) And these lanterns just prove it in the most gorgeous way!

You can search at flea markets and estate sales, ebay, or make your own! See my Make your own mason jar post under the mason jars label to the right.

I saw a similar idea to this recently at a Wedding here in the UK, the steps leading up to the hotel had different styles of jars / candles all the way up them. Very impressive.

    • A Charlie Hunnam marathon isnt a bad way to spend a day, since thats what Ive got before season 6 starts. If I pack while I watch its productive, right? My new favorite "pick a seat" sign in todays gorgeous DIY wedding. So full of personal touches and love, and some stunning portraits from @loveandperry. Congrats @thehomesteady Hannah & Kristie!Thinking I need to make a bunch of these mini-stump taper holders for inside our new non-working fireplace. So simple! (Spotted at @anthropologie at @thegrovela, of course!)
