Since our days as a family of four are quickly coming to an end and we will soon be a party of five (still not used to the sound of that!) I thought I would share our last photoshoot as a family of four. Calvin was (and still is) at the age where he’s almost impossible to photograph — always on the move and beyond frustrated if you pick him up, stop his flow, or want him to do anything that isn’t what he’s doing already. Even though I know that Jennifer Roper is a brilliant photographer, I was doubtful we’d end up with one usable holiday card photo. But as usual, she got some amazing photos of the boys which really showed their little personalities perfectly.
Not bad for one uncooperative toddler and a momma who was 32 weeks pregnant and almost had a hormonal breakdown five minutes in, am I right? That Jen is a miracle worker, I tell ya. Oh, and I’m taking advice from mommas of three (especially three boys) on how to survive and thrive in a house full of energy and testosterone below 🙂
