There have been some fabulous new event spaces popping up in Los Angeles lately, and I was recently invited to see the potential of one in downtown Los Angeles called The Unique Space. Housed in an old industrial space in DTLA’s Arts District, it is full of exposed brick, loft ceilings, colorful graffiti, and unique details and decor. The brilliant ladies of GATHER Events set up a faux-wedding as part of the launch party and showed just what this place could do with the right professionals at the helm. Add stunning florals from Moon Canyon Design Co, a funky mid-century lounge from YEAH! Rentals, and a dinner to die for from Urban Palete and you’ve got one fun night. Oh, and it was all captured to perfection by Braedon Flynn. Here is just a bit of the lovely details.
The invites (complete with vintage stamps) and menus from Underwood Press were oh so lovely.
The florals were beyond stunning, and I really loved the laurels combined with calligraphy from Laura Hooper for the escort cards. And you could pin them on and wear them too!
Dip-dyed fabric installations in the prettiest shades of purple by the GATHER girls = perfection.
If modern vibes and urban spaces are your thing, this place is so gonna blow your socks off. And if you want to see even more, head over to Green Wedding Shoes for another perspective.
