The fall issue of Martha Stewart Weddings debuts today, and as usual it’s chock full of fabulous wedding inspiration. And we have an exclusive sneak peek of one of their real wedding features, the Santa Barbara wedding of Emily & David photographed by Jose Villa. Laid back elegance with Americana touches, dreamy images from one of my favorite photographers, and a bride who just happens to design a denim line I’m obsessed with – what’s not to love?
The touches of nautical inspiration, air mail details, and kraft paper in this invitation suite has me swooning. It it really sets the tone for the rest of the relaxed celebration.
Every detail of a relaxed and fun vibe was thought of by Mindy Rice & Lisa Vorce, including those bags of popcorn, which served as guest snack, ceremony program, and recessional popcorn toss! That was followed up with games, a silhouette artist, a bluegrass band, and family-style food.
Tablescapes were decorated with paper sacks of ripe red cherries, amber glass vessels, and floral arrangements. And the table numbers are one of my favorite ideas ever – so be sure to check out the full story here to see those, and so much more.

As a wedding photographer, I have to say that this is wedding photography at its best! All of the bridal portraits are fantastic!
Any ideas where the red, white and blue prize ribbons are from in the invitation suite from Emily and Divid’s Relaxed Fit wedding?
