Today’s post will be late because I’m standing in line with my family to vote. I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to elections – my birthday (11/2) often falls on election day, I was most excited about turning 18 so I could vote, and I’ve never missed voting in an election since. I also wanted to be the first woman President since I was in preschool (seriously, that’s what I was for career day starting at like age 5). Voting is a right that many people struggled and fought hard to give us, and many more continue everyday to protect, and I believe it is our duty to vote. I don’t care who you vote for (well, I DO – go Obama!) just go vote. It’s what makes this country great. And if you don’t – you are not allowed to complain. Seriously, not ever.

Right on! And happy belated birthday 🙂 I’m off to the polls now!!
