I’ve always loved awards shows, but mostly for the fashion! It was funny to see so many of the color trends on the red carpet that we’ve been seeing in weddings and bridal for months. But I had a few favorites in the best dressed catagory this year, but today we’re talking bridal beauty looks. Here are my top 3 beauty looks from the Emmys that would make for gorgeous bridal looks.

Which is your favorite bridal look? Who was your best dressed from the Emmys? And since I asked for your help last week in picking my Emmy party dress, I wanted to share a little from our night at the Hatfields & McCoys pre-Emmy bash. Although neither of my Rent the Runway looks worked out, I had a sexy LBD in my closet that worked great (and I did still wear the booties!) Unfortunately in the excitement of the night I didn’t get any photos of my ensemble (my husband and I didn’t even get a good photo of us together at all, unless you count the end-of-the-night photobooth pics after I had one (or three) too many cocktails. I didn’t walk the red carpet with my him this time (go here to see a cute pic of him, but since it’s watermarked I’m not posting here), because it’s a bit nuts in front of all of those cameras and I had my fill at the premiere, but now I wish I had because at least I would have had those photos of us! Hopefully there will be a next time. But here are some of my highlights (which you’ve already seen if you follow me on instagram.)

Well, that’s it! It is probably the last time I’ll post anything related to Hatfields & McCoys, which I have to say makes me sad. It’s been such a fun year thanks to that family feud!

I absolutely love Lindsay Pulsipher’s makeup and hair. It is absolutely beautiful! Effortless!
Loving Lindsays look too – so pretty but so natural looking!
The third star looks glamorous with that makeup and hairdo. Jessica Pair on the other hand, looks like she needs to learn how to smile.
