We all have a favorite flower or dream of what kind of flowers we want to have in our wedding, but then we realize those peonies we want are not available for our fall wedding or that dahlias aren’t available in the spring.

If you have your heart set on one particular type of flower, then you need to choose a wedding date when that flower is in season. Likewise, if you have already picked a date, look for florals that are seasonal to that date. Sometimes choosing out-of-season florals makes them impossible to get, or very expensive if you do.

Here is a handy little chart from nectar to help you choose flowers that are in season for your wedding date (and if you go to their site you can click on each flower name to get more info on each one!)

Awesome pics! What a nice blog! Thanks a lot!
What beautiful flowers!! Love the wreath lots!
All the flowers are really alluring with the pretty charming facets of the world. I love to use white and red flowers for decoration in weddings.
