This bride and groom-to-be thought up, styled, planned, and photographed this e-session all on their own! Admittedly, Charisse is an aspiring photographer, but I still think that is a huge feat to take on and achieve so well! Here is their super creative and cute love shack session:

Charisse, the bride-to-be and photographer, shares about the inspiration behind their e-session:
Irvin and I were in the lounge one night, talking about our plans for our shabby chic vintage wedding which is now a couple months away. Though we are having many DIY decors and accessories (for my love of art and crafts), we wanted to make our wedding even more personalised by contributing something that we both have passion about. That’s when we thought – why not shoot our own engagement photos?! I have seen loads of e-sessions online that left me drooling and wishing I could one day have my own that would inspire others as well… So I took out my grey book and doodled some concepts. I wanted something laidback, simple and nostalgic. The things we used on the shoot were bought from carboots and charity shops and some were given to us by a neighbor. We rented the flare jeans from a vintage shop (Beatnik Emporium). We wanted the title to be ‘The Lover’s Den’ but after googling it, the name denotes kinkiness (lol) so we decided on ‘The Love Shack’ instead which suits the concept somehow.
“The Love Shack is a little old place
where we can get together
Love Shack baby, Love Shack baby
Love baby, that’s where it’s at,
Ooo love baby, that’s where it’s at
Sign says.. Woo… stay away fools,
’cause love rules at the Lo-o-ove Shack!
Well it’s set way back in the middle of a field,
Just a funky old shack and I gotta get back.”

What a fun and cute idea! I wish I was this creative! Isn’t it super impressive that this whole e-session was self-done? And if you want to see more of Charisse’s work, check out her website Charisse Joy Photography.

What a sweet e-session – I love this and how great that it was completely done by the couple themselves and photographed by the bride-to-be. This is truly an e-session to remember.
