I’ve never been a big turkey fan and I live far away from my family, so I don’t get all excited about Thanksgiving the way some people do. However, it does make me reflect on how fortunate I am and everything I’m grateful for. Such as:
The sweet toothy smile my son gives me first thing every morning.
The wet “tisses” that same toothy boy plants on my cheek, forehead, and sometimes mouth, all day long.
A husband who supports my dreams, even if they don’t pay the bills the same way my old day job did.
A pillowtop king sized bed.
A good night’s sleep, most nights.
Pumpkin spice lattes. Pumpkin spice whoopie pies. Pumpkin spice everything.
My mother and my brother and their unconditional love.
Wireless internet.
Mommy & me movie Mondays
Ryan Gosling. Ryan Gosling’s abs.
My friends, old, new, and internet ones alike.
Television (especially Up All Night, Community, Parks & Rec, Dexter, Homeland, True Blood, Parenthood, Modern Family… wow, I watch too much TV.
Other blogs. This blog. How other bloggers inspire this blog.
Coca cola. Not diet. On ice. With a straw.
My handsome boys. My little family. My loves.
My loyal readers. And new readers. And future readers.
And all of your comments, love, and support!
and that’s just the short list.

What are you grateful for? Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I’ll see you next week. xx

You are adorable. Kisses from sweet baby boys are the most wonderful thing to be grateful for. I am also a lucky mom to a three year old little man 🙂
We should all have that “grateful” banner hanging in our homes all year round! Thank you for sharing your blessings…both in this thoughtful post and through what you do!
This was such a sweet post! I’m a TV junkie and a mom too, so I an totally relate! I’m so grateful that I can continue to do what I love in the wedding industry, to have met so many people that are just as passionate, and to be able to call so many bloggers my friend!
