This wedding combines all of my favorite things: a pretty yellow and grey palette, great DIY details, and lots of personal touches. And I’m mildly obsessed with the bridesmaid dresses!

In order to accommodate the 230 guests the couple wanted, the bride found ways to keep this wedding super budget-friendly with a little shopping around and some DIY. She shares with us how she did that and the sources of much of what you see here:
We wanted to have a pretty laid back wedding where people could feel comfortable and where we could invite all of our friends and family and not exclude anyone. I made the pictures on the centerpieces, the
goody bag tags, the card box sign, my aunt made the ring bearer pillow and my hubby made the programs and the save-the-date’s. We got our invites from weddingpaperdivas.com, we bought our burlap goody bags online and put salt water taffy inside, which we also got online at acandystore.com. We got the tins for our centerpieces at Shinoda in Coasta Mesa. Our florist, Kyndra Frank, who is one of my mom’s good friends, did all of the florals. We did all of our rentals through Create-A-Party (ceremony chairs, arch, table cloths, napkins, plates, silverware, and cupcake stands). Our cake/cupcakes were made by our friend Courtney Hamlin. I did my own hair, but my bridesmaids got their hair done by my friends from cosmetology school, Kramer Millsap and Nikki Santos. Our make-up was done by Chandra Savaso (chandrasavaso.com). I got my dress at David’s Bridal, my hair flower from H&M, my earrings from Urban Outfitters, my bracelet from Forever 21, and my shoes from chineselaundry.com. All of the guys got their clothes at Express including the ties, the bridesmaids
dresses are from Daisy Shoppe at the Brea Mall (in Brea, Calfornia), their necklaces from Forever 21, their hair flowers are from H&M, and their shoes from Target. The flower girl dresses are from David’s Bridal and the ring bearer tie is from Etsy.

This wedding is the perfect example of how to throw a really pretty wedding without breaking the bank. Thanks to Sarah for sharing the details with us!
