There are so many opportunities to let your wedding style and personality shine through in your wedding decor. An often forgotten spot – your chairs! Why not dress them up and make them feel a little fancy for your wedding day by tying ribbons on them, adding a floral garland, or adding a twist to the traditional fabric bow by making it burlap. You can add chair-ware to your ceremony chairs, or just those at the reception. Can’t afford to adorn them all? Just decorate the ones for you and your hubby to make them extra special. Here are a few of my favorite ways to do chair-ware:

{clockwise: love and lavender, style me pretty, green wedding shoes, style me pretty}

{clockwise: snippet & ink, ruffled, you stir me, style me pretty}

{clockwise: the sweetest occasion, style me pretty, style me pretty}
So, what do you think of the chair-ware idea? So much better than the old school chair covers, no?!

I’m definitely loving these pretty chair ideas. A great way to incorporate color in your day too.

I am 100% completely on board for this. We are fortunate enough to have chiavari chairs so we don’t need chair covers, and we’re doing ribbons just like the very first image you posted for the bride and groom chairs! I’m so excited and I love the look so much!!
love this, i just did this for mel’s wedding too!
I love dressing up chairs – and these ideas are great.
I love dressing up chairs! I’ve started making chair caps for chiavari’s in the last year and I love the accents for head tables and bride and groom’s chairs! It adds just a little bit more of the couple’s personalities!
These are great ideas that can really add to your wedding theme!
These ideas are so much better than chair covers! I really love the yarn-wrapped heart – that’s very cute!
Very cute ideas! I love searching for ways to make chairs more fun. They can be so plain but so easily transformed into something beautiful.
