Funny that I’ve never done a board based on lavender before.  When I was little, my parents built our house and I was allowed to pick out my bedroom carpet.  I chose the exact lavender shade shown above.  Purple was my FAVORITE color.  I did eventually regret the choice, but not until ten or so years later when my tastes had changed a bit (and so had that shade of lavender!)

This is one of my new favorite palettes, equal parts chic and rustic, and I think it is perfect for a late summer or early fall wedding.  I love the mix of plum and lavender complimented by green and neutral taupes and tans.  I see many inspiration boards in this color palette’s future…
