We’ve got a wedding full of pretty girly goodness today with lots of pink and lots of Southern charm!

I love a groom who can pull off a seersucker suit!

True to Southern form: A groom’s cake

Love the pretty florals in milk glass with the lace luminaries.

Such a pretty and easy DIY idea to cover glass votives in lace.

How did you make your wedding YOU? Pamela’s reply:
I handmade a lot of things, went antiquing for months to find all the little details and chose vendors that I knew would uphold their part of our day and make it exactly what we wanted. My favorite thing that I made was my handkerchief that I used to wrap around my flowers. It was hand embroidered with a simple “T” and heart design to represent my new last name. I also made my dad a handkerchief that said, “Today a bride, tomorrow a wife, always your daughter.” I made all of our save the dates, wedding invitations and RSVP cards myself using bits and pieces from all the things I liked. They were each individually handmade so that they were one of a kind. I also used our engagement photos as table decorations. By recoloring them in a sepia tone to look vintage I took vintage frames and used them as centerpieces for our tables. I also used vintage vases and candles that I found at various antique stores in South Georgia and North Florida. I made goodie bags for the children at our wedding so that they would be entertained as well. I took bits and pieces of everything I like and recreated them at our wedding. I not only saved us a ton of money by doing things myself but I made our wedding day uniquely ours.
Congrats on your beautiful wedding Pamela & Kevin!
