I didn’t have a wedding cake. I was never really into cake, but my husband and I love cupcakes, so we had a cupcake tower from Vanilla Bake Shop (my favorite place for cupcakes!). I loved them and so did our guests. But sometimes I see a gorgeous cake, more a work of art than a dessert, and I dream about what cake I would have chosen for my wedding. Here are some beauties that I’ve been collecting.

And if you love that last cake (or the stand it sits on) go visit My Sweet and Saucy blog where Melody gives a video tutorial on how to make that ruffle cake. And she sells her cake stand wares too!

Oh me, oh my ~ this is cake heaven!!! While I am no longer married ;-( I did have cake at my wedding…even though I am like you…not really a cake person. I always LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Melody’s creations at My Sweet and Saucy…but the cake that Jose Villa took a picture of was a $50 cake from Whole Foods ~ now I am impressed…love the whole feel of that one…especially the price tag ;-)))
