Did you see yesterday’s farm-to-table wedding shoot? Because if so, I hinted about today’s post. What could be better than serving cheese at your wedding? I mean, it’s CHEESE! Whether you’re having a low-key backyard wedding or a fancy classic and cool feté, you can include a cheese display. Or if you don’t think it quite fits in with your wedding style, try it for the rehearsal dinner! The above photo is perfect for a cocktail hour cheese display, and below are a few other ways to do a cheese table at your wedding.

You could have a cheese display table with chalkboard descriptions of the cheeses set up during cocktail hour. Or, if cake isn’t your thing, you can have a cheese wheel cake in lieu of wedding cake (just be sure to serve some other desserts.)

If you’re having a low-key picnic-style wedding reception, say in your backyard, you could set up a cute table with cheese displayed for guests, with a cute sign like the photo above.

The best venue for a cheese table would be a vineyard wedding. You could display the cheeses and give suggested pairings with a wine the vineyard offers or that you’re serving at the bar. It is like a mini-wine and cheese tasting at your wedding. Perfect for foodies!
Do you love the idea of a cheese display table at weddings? How would you include cheese?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cheese!!! These are great ideas for Bridal Parties, Engagement Parties, and House Parties too!
so true, Layla! Thanks.
Yes! Cheese is my favorite. When we went to a wedding in Vermont last year, their cocktail hour featured cheese spreads from local farms. It was the best ever. I love this post!
Yummmm!!!! If I were planning my wedding again, this would be one of the things that I would do- my husband and I LOVE cheese!!! 🙂
Oh my! I think a cheese table is a fantastic idea! Who doesn’t LOVE cheese? I also really like the chalkboard idea. Too cute!
